SCHEDULE

Actors and Tools to promote Sociodigital Inclusion

e-STAS is a Symposium about the Technologies for the Social Action, with an international and multi-stakeholder nature, where all the agents implicated in the development and implementation of the ICT's are appointed to exchange their experiences and knowledge, in an aim to promote social innovation and human development.

For this 3rd Symposium, we created a new event's concept that will allow us to enhance three of the most successful factors of the previous editions:

  • To generate debate
  • To boost relations
  • To lead innovation

In this way, we will change traditional conferences for one-hour roundtables, including a thirty minutes debate. To boost this debate and this dialogue, the roundtables will be composed of one journalist and 3 or 4 theme lead speakers: Role of Administration, Companies, Third Sector and Citizens' Networks in the development of the Sociodigital Inclusion.

The journalist will be in charge of the direction and moderation of the development of the roundtable; and will lead the public's debate such as the conclusion of the table.

The most important characteristic of this symposium is that we take care not only of the quality of the lecturers, but also, and above all, the quality of the attendees with the aim that the event generates relations, initiatives and common projects.

In this way, two work days will be organised. Each one will be composed of several workshops, in which will discussed:

  1. Low-cost Infrastructures and Tools
  2. Software and Web contents
  3. Active actors
  4. Networks
  5. Technologic Volunteerism
  6. SocioDigital Inclusion

In each Workshop, will be organised tables of operative works of 8-10 persons that would change of table each 20 minutes. The aim is that the participants of each Workshop will have the possibility to treat the theme with different perspectives.

To finish, the event will be composed of to magisterial lectures: ICT as a tool for human development. Actuation lines, experiences and cases and The "Network Society": Present and perspectives. There will be too parallel events of networking and relations between the participants.

e-STAS has a clear view of where we are going to promote social innovation and human development using new technologies, combining efforts, sharing knowledge and especially being an event particularly practical and operative.
